1992 ■International Development and Research Institute established.
■Dispatch of Expert to JICA Technical Cooperation Project started.
■Scholarship for Overseas Study started. 
1996 ■Brown Bag Lunch Seminar started.
1997 ■Okita Memorial Prize for International Development Research founded.
1998 ■Training course for Private Sector Enterprise initiated
■Evaluation of Official Development Assistance (by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan) was assigned.
2000
 
■FASID/GRIPS (National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies) Joint Graduate Program started.
■Evaluation Workshop for ODA Evaluators started.
2003 ■Introduction to International Cooperation Course started.
2005 ■Teleconference Seminars with ODA Taskforces in the Partner Country started (until 2009).
2008 ■Implementation of JICA Technical Cooperation Project started.
2009 ■Assignment of JICA Ex-post Evaluation Study started.
2012 ■(October 1) FASID became a general incorporated foundation.
2016 ■Assignment of JICA’s Partnership Program with the Japanese Private Sector started.
2018 ■Private Sector Promotion Unit established.
