This program targets competent young people who hold an advanced degree in development studies or related fields for the purpose of enhancing their operational as well as research capabilities. Junior program officers are associated with FASID for various terms up to 12 months and attached to research and training programs under the supervision of researchers and program officers.

Qualification Requirements:

1. possessing Master degrees in international development studies or related fields
2. under age 30 at the start of JPO programfrequently speaking/writing in Japanese and English
