Research and Surveys

FASID conducts policy-oriented and theoretical research and surveys to contribute policy-making and to foster human resources on international development. Forums and symposiums with researchers and academics at home and abroad are held by FASID for the purpose of promoting research exchanges, education on international development, and the results are widely published. FASID also assists Japanese researchers and other development specialists to carry out research, study at overseas institutions, and conduct fieldwork in developing countries.
